This area of the website, developed with the collaboration of members of the Valencian Association of Musicology (Avamus), collects materials that can help investigate or better understand the world of the musical societies of the Valencian Community.
There are two types of materials: those we have developed for Música a la llum and those that come from other sources.
Among the previously existing materials, we have compiled bibliography, discography and web links to sources that can be consulted in full text.
We also collect links to videos featuring Valencian bands that play works by Valencian composers, but establishing some conditions: a minimum quality of image and sound, and an exclusion of incomplete or edited works. Only if necessary, in the absence of alternatives, will we make exceptions to these conditions.
The team of collaborators of Música a la llum produce different kind of materials. On the one hand they are filming short interviews with composers as well as other more anonymous protagonists of the daily life of the musical societies that have to do with their archives and their heritage. On the other hand we have presented the full audio documents that complete the audiovisual abstract but have also published some old audio interviews that are part of the archive of the Institut Valencià de Cultura and that we think may be interesting in this section.
